Long Beach City College is an accredited two-year college that was established in 1927 and has grown from a single building to two dynamic campuses, with the tradition of providing state-of-the-art, technology-rich teaching and learning environment.
The liberal arts campus, or LAC, is the college's largest campus located on the corner of Carson Street and Clark Avenue. Computer labs, multimedia classrooms, and a variety of non-traditional course formats, like online and hybrid courses, are offered to accommodate new communities of learners.
The Pacific Coast Campus, or PCC, was added in 1949 and is located off of Pacific Coast Highway and Orange Avenue. PCC offers a variety of occupational programs, general education classes, ESL courses, and basic skill courses, just to name a few.
Communion parking and a free campus-to-campus shuttle service help our students get to where they need to be. It is a priority of the Long Beach Community College District to maintain a safe and secure environment for its students, staff, and visitors. Safety and security requires that everyone on campus be alert, aware, and responsible.
