Transcript: Craig Ackerman — Buyer Testimonial Video

**Client:** So my husband and I were living in St. Carlos in a wonderful two bedroom condo and quickly we realized we were going to outgrow the space. So we needed to find a place that had a yard for them to play in and to be in a really good school district and we contacted Craig for some help.

**Client:** We didn't even think it was possible to buy a house in the city because of, you know, how tough the market is.

**Client:** In San Francisco it's definitely a stressful buying experience. We were actually feeling really frustrated with our previous agent. This is our fifth or sixth bid. Some of our friends who had houses, like, recommended Craig to us and he was just unbelievably helpful in kind of calming some of that dress.

**Client:** He's available. He's responding email is responding to phone calls. I think that we felt that we were his only client.

**Client:** He made this transaction totally seamless for us which was great for me because as a mother of two very young children I didn't have the time to try and figure out what my next step was. He told me what my next step was before I even asked him the question.

**Client:** When he came and saw this home, he said, basically here's what I think the winning offer is going to look like and he laid out the price and the closing timeline and all of that for us. So whereas some people were telling us oh yeah we had we put an offer so 20 homes, we got the first one.

**Client:** And if we ever need to sell this place we are totally getting him to help us sell it too because because he works on both the buying and selling side. Definitely know he would do really good job if he needed to sell his place too.

**Client**: We would recommend him to anybody. You want to buy a house in the city? Call Craig. You want to sell a house? Call Craig. Because he's his very good at what he does. He's excellent.

About This Video

Craig Ackerman works with buyers and sellers in the San Francisco Bay Area through Ackerman Realty Group. This video focuses entirely on the buyer side: multiple clients describe their experience, all coming from the same starting point — frustration with the SF market after losing bid after bid with a previous agent. One couple had made five or six unsuccessful offers before a friend recommended Craig. They won on the first bid with him. "He told me what my next step was before I even asked him the question." The structure mirrors how real estate referrals actually work. Word of mouth is the mechanism: clients who got results tell other buyers who to call. Putting that chain on camera — here's the problem, here's how we heard about Craig, here's what happened — is exactly the format that converts someone who's frustrated with their current agent into a call. The video closes with Craig directly to camera and a CTA to acremanrealty.com. As a companion to his general brand video, this one does the specific job of showing what working with Craig looks like from the buyer's side. This is brand video production built around the referral conversation buyers actually have.

What should a real estate buyer testimonial video include to convert future clients?

The backstory — specifically, what the client tried before they found this agent. Ackerman's buyer testimonial works because clients describe five or six failed bids with a previous agent before getting referred to Craig. That context is what makes the first-bid win meaningful. Without the backstory, 'we won our first bid with him' is a fact. With it, it's proof that something specific changed. Real estate buyers who are currently losing bids are exactly the audience this video reaches, and they immediately recognize their own situation in the opening minutes.

How does word-of-mouth referral structure translate into a real estate testimonial video?

Show the referral happening on camera. Multiple clients in Ackerman's video mention that friends recommended Craig specifically. That detail does two things: it validates that the clients came to Craig through the same channel most real estate clients use (referral, not advertising), and it shows that past clients are actively referring him. A buyer who watches this video and thinks 'my friend told me to call Craig' is seeing their own story reflected back. That recognition is more persuasive than any produced testimonial.

How do you structure a multi-client testimonial video for a real estate agent?

Build it around the common problem, not the common praise. All of Ackerman's clients came from the same starting point: struggling with a competitive market, losing bids, needing someone who understood how to win. Organizing the testimonials around that shared problem — rather than just collecting 'he's great' quotes — gives the video a narrative arc. Each client confirms the same outcome from a slightly different angle: Craig's availability, his offer strategy, his communication, his ability to make a complicated transaction feel manageable. Different perspectives, same case.

How long should a real estate buyer testimonial video be?

Two to four minutes is the effective range. Ackerman's video includes multiple clients with distinct perspectives — the family who needed more space, the buyer who felt like Craig's only client, the one who had him lay out a specific winning offer strategy. That's enough time to cover the referral chain, the offer process, and the outcome, without asking a busy buyer to sit through a longer production. The CTA at the end (acremanrealty.com) needs to come while the viewer is still engaged, which argues for keeping the runtime tight.
